GORDON PARKS x
Gordon Parks… a civil rights activist, a self-taught photographer, a writer of poetry, and a filmmaker during the 20th century.
With nothing but a thought in his mind and a camera in his hand, he was considered the greatest photojournalist during his time, capturing the social injustices that plagued black Americans back then — shining his light through the dark corners of poverty, violence, and oppression.
To commemorate such feats that I find quite both honorable and appealing, I turned some of his famous photography work into posters, with quotes said by him that not only captures him as a person, but quotes that I personally relate to as both a graphic designer and photographer.
