Float like a camera man, sting like a… camera, man.

If you had ever taken a trip to the Manhattan Bridge, you will for sure notice that the view over there is lovely. With that said, there are many wonders lying underneath the bridge… one being a place called “Gleason’s Gym.”

For those who don’t know, Gleason’s Gym is quite arguably one of the world’s most famous, and also oldest boxing gym known around Brooklyn, NY. If you know of famous fighters like Muhammad Ali and Floyd Mayweather Jr., then you should know that legends like those happened to have trained in this very same gym.

The gym is currently owned by a man named Bruce Silverglade. In this gym, people — ranging from local amateurs to professional boxers from around the world — come in to train with some of the best, whether for preparation purposes or enhancing their own boxing skills.

And I have had the opportunity to capture some of them in action.

Raul Frank, one of the boxing trainers, had enlisted me in taking some photos of him and his clients in action for promotional purposes. Most of the photos you see below best capture him in his element… or what I like to call “his moment.”
